Terms of service

Last updated 14 October 2026 · Draft pending legal review

These terms cover your use of StitchFile, operated by Holland Park US, LLC ("we", "us"), a service that converts artwork you upload into machine embroidery files.

Your artwork

  • You confirm that you own the artwork you upload, or have permission from the owner to use it for embroidery.
  • We don't claim any rights in your uploads or in the files we produce. We use them only to provide the service.
  • Don't upload artwork that infringes someone else's trademark or copyright. We remove infringing material when notified and close accounts of repeat infringers (see our copyright policy).

Your files and licence

  • Files bought as a single design or with 10-pack credits are for personal use.
  • Files created on a Pro or Shop plan may be used commercially (for example on products you sell), subject to your rights in the artwork.
  • Embroidery results depend on your machine, fabric, stabiliser, thread and hooping. Always test-sew first. Files are provided "as is".

Payments, credits and refunds

  • Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout where they apply. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Credits don't expire. Subscription credits granted before you cancel stay in your account.
  • Digital files can't be returned. If a file sews badly, contact us: we'll re-run it free or refund that design.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account.

Fair use

Free previews are limited (currently 3 a day without an account). Don't try to circumvent limits, reverse engineer previews into stitch files, or overload the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
